AIMS - Resume Builder
On Monday, March 3, 2014 Fairfax County will begin using a new online job application system and will phase out use of the AIMS Resume Builder system. The new system, which will be available through the county's jobs site is tailored for local and state governments and used by over 1,200 public sector organizations. It is connected with the nationally recognized website, governmentjobs.com.
Accounts can be created at GovernmentJobs.com in order to apply for Fairfax County jobs. Registration is free and simple. To use a current resume from the AIMS system, it will need to be saved in a word processing format, such as Microsoft Word, as usernames and resumes will not be migrated into the new system.
